Social Connection Supports Health and Wellbeing

Feeling connected to other people is an important part of wellbeing. Shared activities can reduce isolation, create trust and remind young people that difficult emotions do not have to be carried alone.
WASAS builds social connection through group sport, ecopsychology sessions, creative work and environmental action. Participants learn alongside one another, cooperate in new situations and contribute to a common purpose. These relationships are not simply an added benefit of the project; they are central to building resilience and hope.
Co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme.
