Nature Can Support Our Wellbeing

← Back to News

Time in natural environments can offer a welcome pause from daily pressure. The sounds, colours and rhythms of the outdoors can help us slow down, pay attention to the present and reconnect with our bodies.

This relationship between nature and emotional wellbeing lies at the heart of WASAS. Through ecopsychology and outdoor physical activity, young participants explore healthy ways to respond to stress and climate-related emotions while developing a closer, more caring relationship with the environments around them.

Co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme.
