The first WASAS activity round in Tenerife concluded with a strong sense of achievement and community. Young participants completed a shared outdoor experience that combined preparation, water-based activity, cooperation and contact with the sea.
Completing the first round is more than a project milestone. It demonstrates how inclusive sport can create positive memories, strengthen relationships and give young people a practical way to explore wellbeing in nature. The lessons from Tenerife will also support the project’s next activities across Europe.
Co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme.
